1. What is due diligence?
Due Diligence means evaluation of prospective business decisions with a view to minimize probable risks involving financial burden and liabilities under various laws applicable. It is the analysis of percentage of accuracy in business and policy decisions. In short, due diligence means careful and minute scrutiny of existing policies and prospective policy decisions with a view to ensure hundred percent compliance with statutory provisions and policies framed by one for its own governance.
2. What is the necessity of Due Diligence Audits?
With the Indian industrial scenario acquiring Global proportions, the concept of Human Resource Development and retention of the existing diligent and efficient staff is becoming a matter of great concern day by day for most organizations.
The Due Diligence process is generally required by the organisation to verify / check the footing on which they stand in terms of compliance of statutory obligations. Based upon the said analysis Team Précis exerts prepare a preliminary report and interact with the people involved in compliance and give suggestions to remove the lacunae. A target date is fixed during the said interaction. In the last phase the compliance by target date is assessed and detailed final report with comparative data analysis is forwarded to the Client.
